The Black Head Nod (2011)

This short was inspired by Langston Hughes’ “Motto”. I made it for my poetic cinema class.

I play it cool
And dig all jive
That’s the reason
I stay alive
My motto as I live and learn
Is dig and be dug in return
Featuring students at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. *Audio was in camera, forgive the muffled sound *
